New Regulation: Reservation without obligation to the Military District Command – what applies to conscripts?.

Changes in Military Registration

According to Novyny.live: Male citizens of Ukraine aged 17 to 60 must now be registered for military duty to receive a professional reservation ("Bronja"). This innovation is part of the revised regulations issued by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for system-relevant enterprises. An exception applies to men deemed unfit for service for health reasons.

An important point: In the event of a change of actual residence or change of official registration, the affected individual is obliged to change their registration location with the relevant Military District Command (TZK). The address of the TZK does not play a role in granting reservation status.

As Jurij Ajwasjan emphasized: "The address of the TZK is not crucial for the reservation." He added: "Formally, you are registered and are therefore entitled to a reservation."

Requirements and Innovations

The updated rules also include a salary requirement for the reservation: it is set at nearly 26,000 Hryvnias. Additionally, defense industry enterprises are even allowed to reserve employees who are wanted for 40 days. These measures aim to ensure the stability and functionality of critical infrastructure in Ukraine.

The adjustments in military law and personnel reservation are aimed at supporting the Ukrainian economy during the war. They allow system-relevant companies to retain the skilled workers necessary for their uninterrupted operation under challenging conditions. At the same time, these innovations could simplify the process of obtaining a reservation for employees, which is an important factor for the stability of the labor market.
