China has launched seven new satellites into orbit: what they will study.
China successfully launched new Earth remote sensing satellites into space. This was announced by the Chinese television station CCTV.
'On August 19, 2025, the carrier rocket Li Jian-1 (Kinetica-1) successfully put seven new satellites into orbit'.
Among these satellites was the Zhongke 05 satellite equipped with synthetic aperture radar, which will allow obtaining high-resolution images, as well as the electro-optical satellite Tianyan-26 for observation.
Three multifunctional experimental devices from the Tiantuo-6 family were also launched to test data collection technologies for tracking container movement within the Internet of Things, as well as two minisatellites ThumbSat-1 and ThumbSat-2 for conducting biological experiments and other research.
The launch took place from the Jiuquan satellite launch center in the Gobi Desert. This is already the eighth mission of the Li Jian-1 rocket and the first launch using the Yao-10 modification.
Previously, China successfully launched the Pakistani satellite PRSS-1 for Earth remote sensing into space. Recently, it also launched an improved relay satellite, as well as four communication satellites. China is actively developing its space program, demonstrating technological progress and a high level of achievements in this field.
