One customer attempting to deposit 5,000 hryvnias reported that the terminal displayed only 3,000 hryvnias. After canceling the transaction, the terminal returned just 3,000 hryvnias, while the remaining 2,000 hryvnias were never refunded. The customer stated:

“The terminal gave me back 3,000 UAH, but it simply kept the other 2,000 UAH for itself.”
This incident has significantly shaken user confidence in PrivatBank’s services.

Fund Refund Procedure

According to available information, a refund request has been registered under case number 31642519. Customers have also been informed that PrivatBank’s terminals are collected for cash processing only once a week, which can affect the timeline for refunds. The refund process may take anywhere from 5 to 30 days, and in some cases, up to 180 days.
