A journalist accused a lecturer of Lviv University of harassment
Journalist Kateryna Rodak stated that lecturer of the Faculty of Journalism of Lviv National University Ivan Franko, Yosyp Loss, harassed her during her studies. She noted that she had not received support before, but now she has received support from other women who also witnessed similar behavior from the lecturer.
Loss denied these accusations and does not wish to comment on them. For now, the university's press service has not expressed its position on this matter.
Representative of the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada for Human Rights in Lviv region, Taras Podvirny, supported Rodak and stressed that such cases need to be publicized, as silence helps perpetrators continue their actions.
Yosyp Loss is a professor of the Department of Foreign Press and Information at the Faculty of Journalism of the university and has significant work experience.
