According to inkorr.com: The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court confirmed the decision to announce the former deputy CEO of the company 'Ukrinmash' in the wanted list. This person is accused of embezzling nearly 3.5 million hryvnias from two state companies.

The prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office defended his position, and now the search for the former deputy CEO is announced internationally. The Appeals Chamber demands the return of 3,404,000 hryvnias as bail.

Preventive measure in the form of detention

After the arrest, the former deputy CEO of 'Ukrinmash' was placed under preventive detention. The court will decide his further fate after his delivery to the place of pre-trial investigation.

The investigation showed that between 2014 and 2016 the management of 'Ukrinmash' jointly with a foreign company violated the law by entering into unwarranted contracts and transferring funds without justification.

The result of these actions was almost 3.5 million hryvnias in damage caused to the state enterprise – this is the amount of money that was illegally transferred in fulfillment of the terms of the contracts.

As a result of the investigation, it became known that the former deputy CEO along with other officials abused his power by entering into harmful contracts and causing significant damage to state enterprises. The court has already set bail and a preventive measure, while the case is still under consideration.

The further developments around this case may impact the image of the anti-corruption agency in Ukraine and the public's trust in the fight against corruption.
