The brigade commander of the 92nd brigade assessed the enemy's plans regarding Kharkiv.

The Ukrainian 92nd Independent Assault Brigade has been defending Kharkiv from Russian invaders since 2014. According to the brigade commander, Colonel Vitaliy Neshchubskyi, the situation in the Kharkiv direction is tense as the enemy attempts to break through from various directions using different types of equipment, including fiber-optic drones in the area of Lyptsi.
'Lyptsi is the gateway to the city of Kharkiv. Those who are locals understand: this is the territory that the enemy, if captured, could develop and approach the city directly. It is about 20-25 kilometers, but construction begins there, transitioning from one populated area to another. And warfare in urbanized areas is more complicated,' Neshchubskyi explained.
Active defense and enemy's attempts to break through
The Ukrainian military is adequately conducting defense, keeping the enemy at bay from Kharkiv. Enemy forces are trying to cross the Oskil River using boats on cables and encircle the city. Intelligence reports attempts by the enemy to infiltrate the inter-positional space. Colonel Neshchubskyi emphasized that Russia's goal is not to capture Kharkiv but to block it, as indicated by found documents and testimonies of captives.
Competitions in the Kharkiv direction remain tense, and the military is ready to defend their land from any threats.
