Current Situation on the Kostiantynivka Front

According to UATV: Despite ongoing heavy fighting near Kostiantynivka, Russian military assertions that Ukrainian units have been surrounded are completely unfounded. Brigadier General Oleksandr Bakulin, commander of the 19th Army Corps, has confirmed that the city remains under Ukrainian control, stating:

“There is no encirclement of our forces.”

According to the general, Ukrainian troops have eliminated over 700 Russian soldiers in this sector since February of this year. Approximately 130 Russian military personnel are currently stationed inside Kostiantynivka. The Russian command is pushing its army to get as close to Zaporizhzhia as possible by the end of summer, revealing active plans to strengthen their foothold along this axis.

Analysis of the Situation

In short, while tensions in the region remain high, official sources have not corroborated reports of Ukrainian forces being trapped. This update highlights the critical need to verify information during armed conflicts, where disinformation can have severe consequences. Official statements from Ukrainian commanders point to stable defensive positions in Kostiantynivka, a factor that could prove decisive in future military operations. The situation on the ground remains fluid, and the course of events will depend on the actions taken by both sides.
