According to UATV: Ukrainian defense forces executed successful counterattacks on the Kostyantynivka axis, improving their tactical positions after repelling 19 separate assaults by Russian troops over the past day. Military expert Dmytro Snehiriov highlighted the increased intensity of fighting, noting the Russian army's heightened activity in this sector. This area is part of the broader and fiercely contested Donbas region in eastern Ukraine.
Snehiriov pointed to the week's combat as evidence of the Ukrainian military's capabilities. This follows a period of intense action from February 11 to 15, 2023, during which Ukrainian troops managed to reclaim 201 square kilometers of territory.
