Russians received an order to capture Kup'yansk by February: what is happening at the front

According to ТСН: Russian military personnel have again received the task of capturing the city of Kup'yansk in the Kharkiv region, which has already been reported to Russian President Vladimir Putin twice.

Head of the communications department of the Joint Forces Group Viktor Trehubov noted in his comment that the military-political leadership of Russia chooses the timing for this offensive, aiming to capture the city by February.

Situation in Kup'yansk

Trehubov reported that Russian troops are attempting to break into the city, but they are not succeeding. Intense pressure from the occupiers continues in the left-bank area.

“North of Kup'yansk they are unable to break through, attempts at infiltration are failing”

He also noted that there are several dozen Russian soldiers surrounded in the city; radio interceptions have recorded about 30 occupiers.

It is worth adding that recently Trehubov reported that an operation to clear the territory of Russian troops, which began in the fall, is concluding in Kup'yansk.

In the context of these events, it can be noted that the situation in Kup'yansk remains tense. Russian attempts to break through, despite efforts, have not yet yielded the desired results. This creates additional difficulties for the occupiers and overall demonstrates the resilience of Ukrainian positions in the region.
