Kup'yansk closed for civilians: 680 residents remain in the city.
According to inkorr.com: Kup'yansk, located in the Kharkiv region, is now closed to everyone except the military. Andriy Besedin, the head of the Kup'yansk City Military Administration, stated that this decision was made due to the critical security situation.
'Unfortunately, today Kup'yansk is a closed territory, the city is completely closed to any services. The only ones who can enter are our military, so evacuation is unfortunately maximally complicated,' said Besedin.
Those residents who are forced to leave the city can only reach safe territories on foot. There, they are awaited by volunteers, emergency service workers, and police who ensure evacuation. The military is also ready to provide necessary assistance.
Security Situation
According to the city military administration, 680 people remain in Kup'yansk. Their lives are constantly under threat due to active shelling by Russian troops and proximity to the front line. Thus, the situation in the city remains extremely dangerous.
The situation in Kup'yansk, which suffers from shelling, requires urgent response. Residents are in dire need of support, but under closed access conditions, it is difficult to do so. Authorities and military are trying to ensure the evacuation of those who remain in the city and support them during this extremely difficult time.Read also
