New Autonomous Remote Unmanned Operations Unit
According to Espreso.tv: Lithuania is launching a new unit dedicated to autonomous remote unmanned operations, aiming to consolidate its drone aviation resources and advance offensive strike capabilities. The unit will integrate the Lithuanian Armed Forces' unmanned aerial assets, as well as counter-drone systems and electronic warfare tools, under a single command structure.
General Raimundas Vaikšnoras, Commander of the Lithuanian Armed Forces, stated that forming this unit marks a critical step in strengthening the country's drone-related military potential. He emphasized:
