According to The Sun: Today, a Boeing 777 from London had to make an emergency landing in Siberia after its engine failed during flight.
The Air China plane, carrying 311 passengers and crew on its way to Beijing, changed course to Nizhnevartovsk in the Khanty-Mansi region of Russia and landed at 8:17 local time.
Video showed the large aircraft landing in the oil city, where flights from the United Kingdom are rare. The plane took off from Heathrow at 22:43 the previous night before the aircraft encountered difficulties over Russian airspace.
It is currently unknown how many British citizens were on board during the incident.
