Yaroslava Mahuchikh won the Diamond League stage: new record of Silesia.
The ninth stage of the Diamond League this season for women's high jump took place in Polish Silesia. Ten athletes participated in the competition, among them were Ukrainians Yaroslava Mahuchikh and Kateryna Tabashnyk.
Mahuchikh higher than Olislagers again
Yaroslava has already competed six times this year at Diamond League stages and has four medals: gold in Szymanów and Shanghai, as well as silver in Stockholm and Paris. At this stage, in London, she did not make it to the podium, but planned to rehabilitate.
Tabashnyk started the competition, clearing 1.75 m, 1.80 m, and 1.84 m on her first attempts, but stopped at 1.91 m. Then Mahuchikh and Olislagers were left in the competition alone. They cleared the height of 1.97 m, and at 2.00 m only Mahuchikh cleared the bar on her second attempt.

Mahuchikh broke the stage record in Silesia by 2 cm, surpassing the previous record held by Yuliya Levchenko. Additionally, during the competition, it was noted that the defender of the Ukrainian national team, Illia Zabarnyi, faces serious problems at 'PSG'.
The famous athlete may also be accused of extremism, and Yuliya Levchenko shared the issues she faced last season. Liliya Podkopayeva, the Olympic champion in gymnastics, celebrates her birthday.
