Lilia Alexandrovna Podkopaeva

Lilia Alexandrovna Podkopaeva was born on August 15, 1978, in Donetsk. She was raised under the care of her mother and grandmother. From a young age, she began rhythmic gymnastics and, due to her talent and tireless effort, achieved incredible successes. Lilia Podkopaeva became a Honored Master of Sports of Ukraine, an international referee, and represented the Dynamo sports club.

"Winner of the European Cup (1995), has 45 gold medals, 21 silver medals, and 14 bronze medals. Absolute World Champion in Rhythmic Gymnastics (1995), European Champion (1996), Olympic Champion at the Games in Atlanta (1996)."

After finishing her sports career, Lilia Podkopaeva founded her own company for the production of sportswear in the USA and engaged in establishing a network of gymnastics schools in the Donetsk region. She was the founder and chairman of the International Charity Foundation 'Health of Generations' and organized the sports festival 'Golden Lily'.

Television. In 2006, Lilia Podkopaeva won the Ukrainian version of the project 'Dancing with the Stars' on the channel 1 + 1. In 2008, she represented Ukraine at the Eurovision Dance Contest and took 3rd place. In 2011, she became the co-host of the sports-entertainment show 'I am a Hero'.

Private life. Lilia Podkopaeva's first husband was entrepreneur Timofey Nagorny from Donetsk. During their marriage, they adopted a foster child, Vadik, and had a daughter, Karolina. Her second husband was the family of entrepreneur Victor Kostyrko. In 2018, she announced her third marriage and introduced her new partner, American entrepreneur Igor Dubinsky. In March 2019, it was announced that Lilia Podkopaeva was expecting a child, and on September 19, 2019, she gave birth to a daughter.
