Maksym Krippa Becomes Co-Owner of Mobile Game Studio Burny Games: Key Details.
About Burny Games and Its Milestones
According to Novyny.live: Maksym Krippa has joined Ukrainian mobile game developer Burny Games as a co-owner. Founded in 2022, the company now employs over 140 people and has achieved impressive traction, with more than 65 million total game downloads to date.
One of Burny Games’ standout successes is the title Colorwood Words, which topped the Ukrainian App Store charts in 2025. This achievement highlights the studio’s strong market demand and competitive edge in the mobile gaming space.
Investments and Strategic Growth
As of March 2026, Krippa holds full ownership of the legal entity TOV 'Graal'. In a statement, the businessman explained:
“I am consistently expanding my IT and GameDev assets, investing across different industry segments—from major studios like NAVI and GSC Game World to the mobile sector, which today is one of the fastest-growing in the world.”
Anatoliy Genis, a co-founder of Burny Games, added: “From the very beginning, we built this company with the ambition to become a global player. This investment allows us to move faster toward that goal—both in terms of product development and internal processes.” The remarks underscore the studio’s strategic mindset and long-term planning.
Burny Games is thus strengthening its foothold in the mobile gaming market, with leadership investments and strategic decisions fueling further growth.
Mergers and investments in Ukraine’s mobile gaming sector reflect the increasing dynamism of this market segment, which is crucial for the industry’s continued expansion. Burny Games, in particular, demonstrates rapid adaptation and innovation, positioning itself to capture a significant share of the international market. The expansion of assets and strategic capital injections could drive even greater achievements in the future, intensifying competition within Ukraine’s GameDev landscape.
