That day, Russian forces launched more than 15 separate attacks across the region.

The assaults claimed the lives of two civilians. In Pavlohrad Raion, a woman was killed, and the body of a 51-year-old man was also discovered. Additionally, a 74-year-old man was hospitalized, while a 48-year-old victim is receiving outpatient treatment. The shelling targeted several communities, including:

  • Nikopol
  • Chervonohryhorivka
  • Marhanets
  • Pokrovsk

These areas suffered extensive damage as well.

In Synelnykove Raion, the Shakhtarsk and Mykolaivka communities were hit, while in Samar Raion, the Pereshchepyne community came under fire. These incidents underscore the ongoing escalation of violence in the region. Just days earlier, on June 3, Dnipro held an official day of mourning for 16 people killed in a missile strike.

Current Situation in the Oblast

Recovery operations are still in progress, with local services focused on restoring affected areas. The situation across the oblast remains tense, as residents continue to bear the brunt of military hostilities.

These events highlight the protracted nature of the conflict and its devastating toll on civilians, who remain trapped in the cycle of violence.

Clearing operations are critical to ensuring safety and restoring normalcy for the region's inhabitants. The situation in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast stays volatile, and local authorities, alongside international organizations, are persisting with humanitarian efforts and infrastructure rebuilding.
