According to UATV: On March 29, 2023, the city of Sloviansk in Donetsk Oblast came under hostile assault involving multiple rocket launcher shelling and drone strikes. These actions caused significant infrastructure damage and left one person injured.
According to Sloviansk Mayor Vadym Lyakh, the city was hit overnight, with the attack
“completely destroying 16 garages in a garage cooperative and damaging 23 others.”Morning drone strikes damaged four multi-story residential buildings and three vehicles. Lyakh also reported that all drone impacts struck a hotel building and the road surface near it.
Aftermath of the Attacks
Authorities have confirmed one casualty so far: a man who was hospitalized and is receiving necessary medical care. These events underscore the ongoing risk to civilians in a region that remains under constant threat of hostile attacks.
