Russia Launches Massive Attack on Kyiv
According to UATV: On July 6, EU Ambassador to Ukraine Katarina Mathernova confirmed that at least 11 people were killed in a large-scale Russian assault on the capital. This tragic event follows a previous attack on July 2, which claimed at least 31 lives.
According to Mathernova,
“residential buildings were targeted. They burned down. Fires broke out at warehouses. Families with children and their pets were pulled from the rubble.”Her statement highlights the devastating toll of the strike, which affected not only adults but also children and animals.
International Community Expresses Alarm
The attacks have sparked deep concern worldwide, as civilians once again bear the brunt of hostilities. The strike on Kyiv underscores the persistent violence in the region and the ongoing hardships faced by Ukrainian citizens amid the armed conflict.
These assaults on civilian infrastructure emphasize the severity of Ukraine’s humanitarian crisis and the urgent need for international support to protect non-combatants. As the conflict continues, it is critical for the global community to remain engaged and take action to mitigate the impact of violence and ensure the safety of all civilians.
