The bombardment lasted from approximately 1:36 AM to 2:40 AM, leaving 7 people dead and 24 others injured. This attack highlights the ongoing threat to civilians as the war continues to escalate.
Infrastructure Damage Across Three Districts
The strike caused significant damage in three areas of the city: Podilskyi, Darnytskyi, and Holosiivskyi. Specific impacts include:
- In Podilskyi District, a missile struck a nine-story residential building, destroying floors 5 through 9.
- In Darnytskyi District, a fire broke out across multiple apartments, covering 150 square meters and resulting in substantial property loss.
- Holosiivskyi District also suffered damage, with a non-residential structure catching fire.
Mayor Vitali Klitschko and emergency services responded swiftly. Klitschko stated:
