What the Mayor is Accused Of
Serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and host of 24 Kanal, Arsen Tsymbaliuk, criticized mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov. According to them, the mayor has been avoiding providing funding for the Odesa 122nd separate territorial defense brigade for seven months.
The 122nd Brigade appealed to the city council asking for a subsidy of 20 million hryvnias from the budget. This money was intended for the purchase of drones and electronic protection devices. However, the city authorities ignored their request.
'20 million hryvnias for the budget of Odesa is a drop in the ocean. This is 1/6 of 1%. A city with a budget of 12 billion hryvnias cannot find a single penny for its defenders. Meanwhile, the mayor of a military city travels to conferences in Italy for twenty thousand. Perhaps, for him, the war is not his concern.', — noted Arsen Tsymbaliuk.
It is worth noting that recently we wrote about the salaries paid to the soldiers of 'Azov'. Also about the soldier who stole a bicycle and whiskey.During the video address, serviceman Arsen Tsymbaliuk accused the Mayor of Odesa, Hennadiy Trukhanov, of lacking financial support for the Odesa 122nd brigade of territorial defense. The mayor refused to allocate 20 million hryvnias for the purchase of necessary equipment, which caused outrage among soldiers and the public.
