A patient who had consumed alcohol for 20 years experienced discomfort and symptoms when refraining from drinking. The doctor explained that excessive alcohol consumption led to family conflicts and suffering. Ten tablets of naltrexone hydrochloride were implanted, which are gradually released into the patient's body, helping to reduce the psychological craving for alcohol and the risk of relapse.
