According to ТСН: Russia has completed the transfer of new ballistic missiles 'Oreshnik' to the territory of Belarus. Ukraine already has information about their locations and has shared it with its Western partners.

Planning and Threat

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized at a joint press conference with Polish President Karol Nawrocki that Kyiv has complete information about the enemy's intentions and is passing it on to its allies for an adequate assessment of the level of threat.

'The transfer of 'Oreshnik' to the territory of Belarus is nearing completion. We understand where it will be, where it will be deployed. We pass this information to our partners. I think they can assess this threat themselves and understand how to respond,' Zelensky noted.

The President also reminded that Ukraine had warned Europe and the USA in advance about Kremlin's plans, demonstrating on maps the range of the new weapon.

'This is a threat to many European countries, particularly Poland, Germany, and others,' the president emphasized.

Sanctions and Economic Pressure

Zelensky raised the issue of combating the new missiles. In his opinion, neutralizing 'Oreshnik' with conventional drones is impossible, so the main method is economic pressure on their production.

However, according to the president, sanctions are currently not working as they should.

'We urged our partners to impose sanctions against companies that sell components through third countries that are suitable for 'Oreshnik'. Without these components, the Russian Federation will not be able to develop this missile. At the moment, I do not see the imposition of these sanctions,' the head of state stated.

He also noted that, despite Moscow's claims, its defense industry is temporarily unable to produce these missiles in the required quantities.

'Thank God, it is not capable of producing a lot of them yet... But nevertheless, they are doing it,' Zelensky remarked.

Diplomatic Pressure on Russia

The president also called on Western leaders, who are actively seeking diplomatic solutions to end the war, to pay attention to the situation with Russian missiles.

'If partners are making so many diplomatic efforts to end the war, can they also exert pressure on Russia so that it does not place its missiles closer to Europe, to the borders with Poland? I believe this should be addressed,' Volodymyr Zelensky concluded.

It should be noted that, according to intelligence information, Russia is ramping up production of the 'Oreshnik' ballistic missile, which is part of its strategy to strengthen its military potential.
