Mykhailo Fedorov on the new army: TCC audit, drones for each brigade and FPV regiments.
Mykhailo Fedorov's announcement on changes in Ukraine's defense system
According to Novyny.live: Mykhailo Fedorov announced his intention to become the Minister of Defense of Ukraine and also announced a number of important changes in the country's defense system. Among the main initiatives are the audit of Territorial Recruitment Centers, improving the training of military personnel, and ensuring a basic level of equipment for brigades with drones.
Fedorov spoke in the Verkhovna Rada on January 14, where he reported on the critical situation with conscripts. According to him, 2 million conscripted Ukrainians are wanted, and 200,000 of them are already registered in the military service supply system. These figures indicate the difficulties that the recruitment system of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is facing.
The importance of training military personnel
Fedorov emphasized the importance of quality training for military personnel, noting that this will lead to a reduction in losses and an increase in effectiveness. To achieve these goals, it is planned to provide a basic level of equipment for brigades with drones, as well as to create assault drone regiments, which, according to Fedorov, will reduce risks to the lives of soldiers.
"More robots — fewer losses. More technologies — fewer deaths," — Mykhailo Fedorov
These initiatives can significantly change the approach to Ukraine's defense in the face of modern challenges. It is reminded that Denys Shmyhal was dismissed from the post of Minister of Defense on January 13, which became another factor prompting changes in the country's military leadership. The implementation of the reform program proposed by Fedorov could be an important step in strengthening Ukraine's defense capability.
Mykhailo Fedorov's statements about the need for reforms in the military sphere underscore the urgency of the situation faced by Ukraine amid an ongoing conflict. A significant number of conscripts who are wanted indicates serious problems in the recruitment system that require urgent resolution. The introduction of new technologies, such as drones, can not only improve the quality of military personnel training but also ensure greater safety on the battlefield.
