According to Novyny.live: Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov has appointed Valeria Ionan as an adviser for international projects within his team, a decision formalized on January 23. Ionan brings over six years of experience from the Ministry of Digital Transformation, where she played a key role in major initiatives. Notably, she helped coordinate the Tallinn Mechanism, a crucial effort that successfully secured 241.7 million euros in international support.

Audit of International Projects

Fedorov emphasized that an audit of current international projects is underway at the Defense Ministry. This move highlights a drive to improve the management of foreign aid and boost the efficiency of military initiatives. The minister also stressed the critical need to increase the volume of international military assistance, stating:

“This year, our goal is to increase the volume of international military aid.”

In a separate personnel move, Fedorov also appointed Serhiy Sternenko as an adviser.
