Germany's Ministry of Defense refuted Trump's statements regarding Ukraine.
The German government has denied US President Donald Trump's statement about the supply of Patriot missile systems from Germany to Ukraine. A spokesman for the German Ministry of Defense stated that they currently have no information on such deliveries.
The spokesman noted: 'I cannot confirm that anything is currently on its way. I have no information about it.'
The representative of the German defense agency also emphasized that there is currently no information about the dispatch of Patriot systems to Ukraine. A conference is planned where Ukraine's partners will discuss possible ways to expedite the delivery of these systems to the country.
It should be recalled that earlier, the US president told reporters about the arrival of the first Patriot installations in Ukraine, which, according to him, 'are coming from Germany.' It was also confirmed that Ukraine will receive Patriot systems from the United States.
Germany's government response to President Trump’s statement indicates that, for now, the information about the supply of Patriot missile systems from Germany to Ukraine is contradictory. Both sides point to the lack of data regarding such deliveries. This reflects the uncertainty regarding the supply of systems from one country to another in the context of the strained relations between Ukraine, the USA, and Germany.
