Ministry of Defense implements NATO standards: how the quality of weapons will change.
Synchronization of the state quality assurance system
According to inkorr.com: The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is actively working on aligning the national state quality assurance system with international ISO standards and NATO standards of the AQAP series. As part of this process, two new professional standards have been created:
“Quality management system auditor for defense industry enterprises”and
“State quality assurance specialist”.
Main areas of activity
- Organization of audits of quality management systems in accordance with international standards.
- Risk analysis in the life cycle of defense products.
- Evaluation of the effectiveness of quality assurance measures and providing recommendations for the improvement of management systems.
- Development of legislation in the field of state quality assurance.
- Preparation and implementation of international cooperation agreements in this area.
- Adaptation and implementation of national and military standards according to NATO standards.
Public discussion and new technologies
After the development of the draft standards is completed, a public discussion is planned. At the same time, a new functionality has appeared in the DOT-Chain Defence marketplace - a ranking system for drones, which will simplify the choice of drones for military units.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine continues to improve the quality assurance system, aligning it with international standards to enhance the effectiveness and quality of products in the defense sector. The introduction of new technologies will also aid the military in the selection of drones, contributing to the optimization of their activities and strengthening Ukraine's defense capability.
