The government is preparing to increase salaries for social workers: who will receive more.
New funding for social workers
According to inkorr.com: The Ministry of Social Policy is developing a new salary payment algorithm for social workers. Deputy Minister Tetyana Kyriienko emphasized that the department is carefully listening to the opinions and needs of professionals in this field to effectively address existing problems.
“Together with the minister and other deputies, we often travel on working visits to the regions, where we have repeatedly discussed this issue with social workers on the ground. We hear this need,” she noted.
An increase in salaries for social workers is also planned, especially for those working in residential institutions. A relevant resolution is currently being prepared and will be ready soon.
The department of social policy of the ministry is actively working to improve working conditions for social workers, taking into account their needs and preparing the necessary legislative changes.
These initiatives are aimed at supporting social workers who play an important role in society. Increasing salaries and improving working conditions aim to attract new personnel and enhance the effectiveness of work in this field, which will undoubtedly affect the quality of social services in Ukraine.
