The Ministry of Social Policy reported how many Ukrainians returned to the occupied territories.
The Ministry of Social Policy reported the return of over 1 thousand citizens to the temporarily occupied territories. In total, there are over 5 million internally displaced persons registered in Ukraine. Over the past year, the number of internally displaced persons has decreased by 250 thousand. Of this number, 29 thousand people returned to their previous places of residence, including even areas with active hostilities. Most of the displaced persons preferred 'conditionally safe territories.' The Ministry of Social Policy also stated that over 150 thousand internally displaced persons returned to the temporarily occupied territories due to the lack of support from the state. However, currently, MP Maksym Tkachenko stated that his words did not have sufficient support and were erroneous.
