The Ministry of Economy denied rumors about the cancellation of reservation: what has really changed.
According to ТСН: The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine has denied the information that appeared in the media, stating that "the deferment of employees from critical enterprises may be revoked immediately and without warning."
The department clarified that such a formulation does not correspond to reality.
The basic mechanism of reservation remains unchanged
The Ministry of Economy notes that:
deferment is granted to employees through an enterprise that has the status of being critically important;
if the enterprise loses this status, the reservation of its employees is terminated — this rule has been in effect since the system of reservation was launched.
New rules, on the contrary, simplify the procedure for critically important enterprises.
Changes in the reservation procedure
employees of the defense industry can now be reserved for a period of 45 calendar days;
the 72-hour period for checking the lists of employees submitted for reservation has been canceled.
The ministry explained that these innovations allow companies to keep specialists during formal procedures and ensure continuity of work.
Enterprises that meet the established criteria can continue reserving their employees in the usual manner.
It was also reported that employers in Ukraine must check the availability of military registration documents of citizens when hiring, and ignoring this requirement may result in fines.
Critically important enterprises will be able to reserve their employees through the Diia portal until February 1, 2026, three times faster — the processing time for applications has been reduced to 24 hours.
Thus, the Ministry of Economy emphasizes the importance of complying with employee reservation rules. The changes introduced in the system are aimed not only at accelerating the process but also at supporting the functioning of key enterprises during the challenges faced by the country's economy. This indicates the state’s efforts to adapt to new realities and create conditions for the stable operation of businesses in Ukraine.
