International Day of Peace: Greetings in Cards, Prose, and Poetry.
The International Day of Peace was established by the United Nations General Assembly in 1981. Since 2002, this holiday has been celebrated annually on September 21. On this day, Peace Day is also celebrated in Ukraine in accordance with a decree by President Leonid Kuchma.
The International Day of Peace reminds us of the importance of peaceful coexistence and the need for constant efforts to achieve and sustain peace. Ukraine continues to fight for its right to live in peace and security, facing armed aggression from Russia. On this occasion, the 'Glavcom' portal has prepared congratulatory cards.

How we long for peace, where there is no war,Where hopes shine like early lights.Where each dawn is without fear and worries,Where only a loving God rules the world.Where happy children laugh freely,And each century breathes with joy.Where wars are forgotten, like terrible dreams,How we long for peace, where there is no war.

The day will come, and there will be no wars,All people in the world will forget pain and fear,The family will rejoice in abundance and harmonyAnd the wounded land will live in peace. The day will come, and fears and sorrows will disappear,Our state will no longer have to survive,The sun of truth will shine, nations will reconcile,It will come true for everyone once and forever!
