Mobilization in Ukraine: when and where recruits need to register for military service.
Ukrainians are being asked to register for the army
According to a report by NV, in connection with the continuation of military mobilization, young men who have turned 17 years old were informed about the registration rules for the army. In order to accurately track potential recruits, citizens of the country must register in the 'Oberih' system.
It should be noted that registration does not mean immediate conscription, but rather the creation of a database for potential future conscription. Registration takes place every year from January to March. School students will receive their registration summons along with a notification of necessity. In other cases, local council heads, heads of institutions and organizations, as well as heads of homeowners' associations should take care of the registration.
If a student comes to the military enlistment office with classmates, he must register independently within the set period. Failure to comply with registration rules incurs a fine of 17,000 to 25,500 hryvnias.
The Ministry of Defense explained that it is waiting for students who are not undergoing military training.
