Young doctors promised 200 thousand hryvnias: conditions for receiving the bonus.
According to inkorr.com: Ukrainian medical professionals have the opportunity to receive a solid bonus of 200 thousand hryvnias. This program is designed for young specialists who have completed their internship and are ready to work in remote areas. They can receive the financial aid only on the condition of working in the declared position for three years.
Support for young doctors
As part of the program, payments are provided for young doctors who find jobs in rural areas or on the front lines. This initiative supports medical workers ready to help in communities where qualified medical assistance is extremely important. The program operates during martial law with the possibility of further extension.
To receive the payment, the doctor must:
- Find a vacancy in a hospital in a village or in a combat zone
- Ensure that the signed position does not exceed the limit of 75%
- Sign an employment contract for at least three years
- Obtain confirmation from the medical institution regarding compliance with all program requirements
Documents for receiving the payment must be sent to the university by October 10. In the case of early termination, the doctor is obliged to return the money within 10 days, except in cases of military mobilization or disability.
This initiative can be an important step in improving the accessibility of medical services in hard-to-reach regions and supporting young specialists who want to start their careers in villages or at the front. The promised payments can serve as an incentive for long-term medical practice in such areas.
