According to The Sun: The US struck the third Venezuelan drug boat, resulting in the death of three 'narco-terrorists'.

Donald Trump's conflict with drug cartels escalated after his order to attack a vessel that, according to American intelligence, was involved in drug trafficking.

The dramatic video shows how the small vessel shakes on the waves before being hit by a US missile. A powerful explosion followed, causing the ship to catch fire.

Trump published the video on his Truth Social account, warning all those involved in drug trafficking. He noted that the strike took place in international waters.

“At my order, the Secretary of War instructed to carry out a lethal strike against a vessel linked to a terrorist organization involved in drug trafficking in the USSOUTHCOM area of responsibility,” Trump stated.
“Intelligence confirmed that the ship was involved in drug smuggling and was moving along a known drug trafficking route to poison Americans,” he wrote.
“No US servicemen were harmed during the strike. STOP THE SALE OF FENTANYL, DRUGS, AND ILLEGAL NARCOTICS TO AMERICA, AS WELL AS COMMITTING VIOLENCE AND TERRORISM AGAINST AMERICANS!!!”

The area of responsibility of the US Southern Command covers most of South America and the Caribbean.

This event occurred just days after US troops struck two other vessels, reportedly also belonging to Venezuela. As a result of that attack, 14 people died.

Trump's War on Drugs?

Donald Trump launched an active war on drugs, favoring missile strikes over human rights defenders.

The first day of Trump's second term began with declaring drug dealers terrorists – which gave him the right to destroy them before they reached the shores of America.

He used this rationale despite warnings from human rights defenders that his decision to strike a suspicious vessel is illegal.

Observers in Washington argue that criminals should be arrested, but the White House believes law enforcement is ineffective.

Trump promised after the attacks: “This is just the beginning.”

The US president has long spoken of his desire to take forceful action against drug cartels, which he claims are actively supported by Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro condemned these attacks, stating that his country will defend itself against 'aggression' from the US.

Maduro also announced a mobilization of troops, claiming that he has 2.5 million servicemen to defend Venezuela.
