According to inkorr.com: The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has already announced the preliminary dates for school holidays in the 2025-2026 academic year. According to the government resolution, the academic year will start on September 1, 2025, and will last until the end of June 2026.
The Ministry of Education recommends holding autumn holidays from October 27 to November 2, 2025, however, each educational institution can set its own dates, taking into account the learning needs, safety, and epidemiological situation.
Approximate dates of holidays
The approximate dates of holidays are as follows:
- autumn – from October 27 to November 2, 2025,
- winter – from December 27, 2025, to January 11, 2026,
- spring – from March 23 to March 29, 2026,
- summer – from June 1 until the beginning of the new academic year.
According to the requirements, students should be given at least one month of holidays during the academic year.
The published preliminary dates of holidays for the 2025-2026 academic year will allow students to rest, and educational institutions to plan the educational process, taking into account their own specifics and needs.
