In the southern part of the country, overnight lows will be slightly less extreme, ranging from -2°C to -6°C.

In the capital, Kyiv, meteorologists predict a low of -15°C at night, with the daytime temperature rising to around -5°C. Noted forecaster Natalia Didenko stated:

"We have the two coldest nights ahead of us in the immediate future."
