"MSEC Scandal". Political council of "Servant of the People" excluded Tetyana Krupa from deputies.
The political council of the "Servant of the People" party confirmed the decision to recall member of the Khmelnytskyi regional council and head of MSEC Khmelnytskyi, Tetyana Krupa, according to the people's initiative. This was announced by member of parliament and chairman of the internal party disciplinary commission, Viktoria Podgorna.
According to her, this was preceded by decisions of the faction of the "Servant of the People" party of the Khmelnytskyi regional council, the assembly of the regional party organization, and the National council of communities of the party on the exclusion of Tetyana Krupa from deputies. Currently, the Khmelnytskyi regional territorial election commission must make a final decision on this issue.
"Despite the fact that the Venice Commission criticized the application of the imperative mandate due to non-compliance with international standards, Ukrainian political parties have no other way to cleanse their ranks of corrupt officials and collaborators. After all, national security and maintaining trust in political forces by the public are at stake," the politician explained.
Viktoria Podgorna stressed that in the next local elections, the approach to forming party lists of candidates for deputies should be reconsidered.
"Creating a personnel reserve is what every party should work on," the member of parliament added.
It is worth noting that in the 2020 local elections, Tetyana Krupa received the most votes among the candidates for deputies of the Khmelnytskyi regional council from "Servant of the People". She was supported by more than 3,000 voters in the district.
Recall that on October 4, the head of the Khmelnytsky regional center of medical and social expertise (MSEC), Tetyana Krupa, and her son, at that Time the head of the regional Pension Fund, Oleksandr Krupa, were exposed on illegal enrichment. During searches, almost $6 million in cash was found in their possession.
The State Bureau of Investigations found $100,000, several forged medical documents, lists of "dodgers" with names and fictitious diagnoses in the office of the MSEC head. Specifically, employees of the State Bureau of Investigations found almost $5 million 244 thousand, €300 thousand, more than 5 million UAH, branded jewelry, and valuables with the officials. During investigative actions, the official attempted to dispose of part of the money by throwing two bags with half a million dollars out of the window.
Head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional State Administration, Serhiy Tyurin, commenting on the situation with the exposure of Krupa, stated that he was struck by the scale of cynicism.
On October 7, the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv elected a measure of restraint for the head of the Khmelnytsky regional center of medical and social expertise, Tetyana Krupa. She was detained for 60 days (until December 3) with the possibility of bail over 500 million UAH. If the suspect posts the corresponding bail, several obligations are imposed on her:
- appear upon the summons of the investigator, prosecutor, or court;
- do not leave Khmelnytskyi without the permission of the investigator, prosecutor, or court;
- it is forbidden to visit the "Khmelnytsky regional center of medical and social expertise" administrative building and refrain from communication with employees of the "Khmelnytsky regional center of medical and social expertise" and persons who applied for expertise;
- notify the investigator, prosecutor, or court about the change of residence;
- hand over to the authorized body their passport for traveling abroad, other documents that provide the right to leave Ukraine and enter Ukraine.
It is known that approximately over 50 prosecutors of Khmelnytskyi, led by regional prosecutor Oleksiy Oliynyk, issued disability, allegedly through a corruption scheme of Tetyana Krupa in the MSEC.
