Blind veterans and a Paralympian participated in the Ministry of Internal Affairs photo project.
The photo project 'Feeling with the Soul and Touch'
According to inkorr.com: The Ministry of Internal Affairs presented the photo project 'Feeling with the Soul and Touch', featuring blind participants from the 'Reset 2.0' course. Among them are veterans Oleg Derecha and Oleksandr Prasolov, who lost their sight while serving on the front lines, as well as Viktor Smirnov, a multiple Paralympic award winner. The course lasts for 21 days, during which participants learn Braille, engage in occupational therapy, and acquire skills in orientation using a white cane.
This project helps blind individuals adapt to new life conditions and learn useful skills such as spatial orientation and using special fonts. Program participants demonstrate that despite physical limitations, they can successfully and creatively realize their potential in modern society.
The photo project not only provides participants with new skills but also draws public attention to the issues faced by blind individuals. It is important for society to acknowledge their needs, support their initiatives, and recognize their contributions to community development.
