Implementation of the Digital System at the Ministry of Internal Affairs
According to inkorr.com: The Minister of Internal Affairs Igor Klymenko announced the launch of a new digital system that allows obtaining extracts from the Register of persons missing under special circumstances. Only two weeks after the launch, 1730 individuals have taken advantage of this opportunity. Applications are processed on average within 48 hours, which is significantly faster than submitting paper requests or via email.
'Currently, we are working with specialists from the Ministry of Defense to ensure that integration with the 'Oberih' system takes place by the end of the year, to make it sufficiently reliable and valid,' emphasized Igor Klymenko.
Moreover, the Ministry of Internal Affairs is working on the creation of a Unified Information Platform regarding individuals who went missing under special circumstances. Cooperation is also taking place with human genomic information registers and the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
This new digital system significantly accelerates the process of obtaining documents compared to traditional methods. At the same time, work continues on the new information platform, and cooperation with other agencies is being established to ensure effective handling of issues related to missing persons.
The system that allows for the prompt and efficient retrieval of information about the missing can become an important step in the fight against this problem in Ukraine. With the implementation of new technologies, the relevant authorities hope to improve the process of searching for and identifying persons who went missing under special circumstances.Read also
