British couple freed by the Taliban: family of other hostages in Iran calls on the government to act.
The family of the British couple hopes for their swift release from Iran
According to The Sun: The family of Lindsay and Craig Forman, who were detained in Iran, hopes that the British government will step up efforts for their release following the successful return of another couple taken by the Taliban.
Lindsay and Craig Forman were arrested on charges of espionage during their motorcycle trip in January. The couple, both 52, has been held in separate prisons for nine months awaiting trial, where they deny the charges against them.

The son of Lindsay and Craig, Joe Bennett, hopes that their safe return will encourage the British government to take active steps to bring their parents home to East Sussex.
“We are extremely relieved that British couple Peter and Barbie Reynolds, who were held by the Taliban in Afghanistan, have finally been released,” he said. “No one should be held captive abroad, and our loved ones, Lindsay and Craig Forman, are no exception.”
Lindsay and Craig are currently held in terrible conditions in Iranian prisons, and their family is very concerned about their health.
The couple has been behind bars since January 3, when they last had contact with relatives before their arrest. They had valid visas and a licensed guide.
The arrest occurred on February 13, when Iranian state media reported their detention.

The family hopes that the situation will resolve in their favor, just as it did for the Reynolds, and Lindsay and Craig will finally be able to return home.
