According to The Sun: 22-year-old Jaclyn Barbosa Nascimento, known on social media, disappeared last Sunday while jet skiing with new acquaintances. Her body was found the following Wednesday on the Igaratá dam in the Brazilian state of São Paulo. Her mother recognized her at the scene of the tragedy.

Initially, the police believed it was an accident, but her death is now being investigated as “suspicious.” Jaclyn was with two friends during the jet ski outing, but their testimonies did not quite align, causing additional questions for investigators.

One witness reported that a fourth person offered the friends a life jacket, which they declined. All three fell into the water, losing control of the jet ski. “She was always such a gentle, loving girl, always thinking of others. She was a good person and a true friend.”
