On Sunday, August 10, no significant magnetic storms are expected on Earth. Solar activity has remained at a moderate level over the last 24 hours.

Magnetic storms on August 10

During this time, 12 C-class flares and one M1-class flare have been recorded on the Sun. M-class solar flares are considered to be of medium strength. An M1 flare may cause a small level of radio interference on the daylight side of Earth. A solar radiation storm is also possible.

'It is expected that on Sunday the geomagnetic field will fluctuate from unstable to active levels. Solar activity will remain moderate, with a slight chance of an X-class flare occurring,' the report says.
