In Sumy region, a reserve colonel of the Armed Forces spied for the Russian Federation.
Ukrainian special services have once again amazed with their successes – this time they have cracked a Russian intelligence operation, uncovering an FSB agent network in the Sumy region. A reserve colonel of the Defense Forces turned out to be an enemy of his own state, aiding a hostile intelligence service in recruiting new agents. Apparently, the Russian paratrooper has mastered betrayal to an art form – but he will receive his deserved response for his actions.
There is no place for agencies and espionage in Ukraine – and SBU employees confirm this time and again, preventing hostile influences on our country. It is important to remain vigilant to avoid enemy traps and to maintain independence and security. Let this example serve as a reminder for those who consider betraying their own state.
