Queues have formed at the border with Poland: points with the highest traffic have been named.
According to ТСН: At the border of Ukraine, at the crossing points in the Lviv and Volyn regions, there is an increased load. This is a traditional phenomenon during the Christmas and New Year holidays.
According to the State Border Guard Service, after Christmas the passenger flow decreased slightly, but now an increase in traffic is observed again.
Crossing points with the largest accumulations
«Shehyniv»;
«Krakiwets»;
«Rava-Ruska»;
«Ustyliuh»;
«Uhriniv».
The fewest people cross the border at the points «Hrushiv», «Nyzhankovychi», «Smilnytsia».
No accumulations have been recorded for entry into Ukraine.
«To reduce queues and speed up processing procedures at crossing points, measures have been taken: the number of border patrols has been increased, additional automated workstations have been opened, and ongoing coordination with Polish border guards is being conducted,» the State Border Guard Service noted.
Recall that earlier the spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Andriy Demchenko, warned of an increase in passenger traffic at the border ahead of the New Year holidays, but also noted that there are days when crossing the border can be done faster.
Considering this information, it is advisable to be cautious and plan trips in advance to avoid long queues at crossing points. This is especially relevant during holiday periods when traffic increases significantly. It is also important to remember the measures taken to help reduce waiting time at the border.
