Kamala Harris always supports Ukraine and NATO, Senator Mark Kelly said at the Democratic Party convention.
"Today, Vladimir Putin is testing whether we are still strong… What is Trump's response? He offered Russia to do whatever they want - and those are his words, not mine," Kelly said. He added that "Harris always advocates for America's support of NATO, Ukraine, and the Ukrainian people."
She also investigated Russia's interference in our elections, he added.
"If we make him commander-in-chief again, the only suckers will be us," Kelly said. "Kamala Harris knows that supporting our allies means supporting Americans."
Speaking at the convention, Leon Panetta reminded that he gave the order to neutralize Al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden.
"Trump would have abandoned our allies and isolated America," Panetta said. "We tried to do this in the 1930s, and it was foolish and dangerous then, and it's foolish and dangerous now."
According to him, tyrants like Putin should not be allowed to do whatever they want, as Trump suggested.
"Kamala Harris tells tyrants they can't do this… She worked with President Zelenskyy to defend Ukraine. She knows that protecting their democracy is also protecting our democracy," he added.
Former Congressman Adam Kinzinger characterized Trump as a weak person.
"Donald Trump is a weak person pretending to be strong. He is an unfaithful person pretending to be righteous. He is a criminal who cannot stop portraying himself as a victim… But there is no real strength in him," Kinzinger said.
Kinzinger also condemned Trump's support from his party members.
"How can a party that claims to stand for freedom support tyranny in Ukraine and retreat in the face of national challenges? How can they nominate a person who is strangely obsessed with Putin?" he said.
