According to UATV: Sweden is calling on other nations to increase their contributions to Ukraine, emphasizing the critical need for sustained assistance. Speaking at the NATO summit in Ankara on July 8, 2023, Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson stated:

As part of these efforts, Sweden has finalized an agreement to supply 32 next-generation Gripen fighter jets to Ukraine. The deal includes 16 newly manufactured aircraft and 16 refurbished units.
