Dollar and Euro Near Record Highs as Ukraine’s Central Bank Sets July 7 Exchange Rates.
Official Currency Rates for July 7, 2026
According to Мінфін — Крипто/Фінанси: On Tuesday, July 7, 2026, the National Bank of Ukraine announced the official exchange rates for the hryvnia, U.S. dollar, and euro. The hryvnia is set at 44.5696 per dollar, with the dollar rate fixed at 44.56 UAH. This level is just shy of the dollar’s all-time peak of 44.97 UAH, which was recorded on June 11, 2026.
Euro Rate and Fluctuations
As for the euro, its official rate stands at 50.86 UAH on Tuesday. This marks a decrease of 16 kopiyky from Monday’s figure of 51.02 UAH. The euro’s historic high remains 52.03 UAH, reached on June 16, 2026.
These figures suggest a degree of stability in currency markets, though ongoing fluctuations could shape financial decisions for both individuals and businesses.
Ukraine’s foreign exchange situation mirrors broader economic trends within the country and is influenced by external factors such as shifts in the global economy and political developments. While the hryvnia’s relative steadiness may signal some positive economic momentum, the persistent ups and downs of exchange rates highlight potential risks for the financial system—especially for importers and exporters. It remains crucial for businesses and citizens to closely monitor rate changes in order to make informed financial choices.
