Naftogaz announces a new stage of heating system development in Ukraine.
History of heating system development
The gas supply company 'Naftogaz of Ukraine' conducted a study that confirmed significant technological progress in the field of heating over the centuries. Archaeological findings revealed that the earliest form of heating for people was the hearth in caves. Then came stone stoves and heaters that improved the way heat was preserved and distributed. In the Middle Ages, chimneys and metal stoves began to be used, and by the 18th century, the first cast iron and ceramic heating systems appeared.
In the 19th century, a centralized heating system was introduced that distributed heat through pipes. In the 20th century, the spread of gas boilers and radiators significantly increased the energy efficiency of buildings.
At the present stage of development, the 21st century is characterized by the use of innovative technologies in heating, such as heat pumps, solar collectors, and intelligent heating systems. 'Naftogaz of Ukraine' predicts further development of heating technology aimed at improving efficiency, environmental friendliness, and automation of heating systems.
