Which years of Honda Civic should be avoided: models with the most issues.
Slash Gear reported that Honda Civic vehicles from the seventh and eighth generations have received many complaints from owners due to various problems, ranging from cracks in the engine block to transmission failures. The worst was the 2001 model year, which became one of the worst in the brand's history, but even the following years had their share of issues.
In contrast, 10th generation models (2015-2021) of the Honda Civic are known for their good reliability, safety, performance, and modern technology. However, experts advise against the 2016 model year due to potential problems with the air conditioning, electrical system, and other components.
Overall, if you plan to purchase a Honda Civic, it is better to focus on vehicles from the 10th and 11th generations, as they are known for quality, comfort, and modern technology.
