NATO remains a strong and united bloc despite Russia's aggression against Ukraine. This was stated by the Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz and the Secretary General of the Alliance Mark Rutte during a press conference in Berlin.

"The goal of the North Atlantic alliance is clear: to be so strong that no one would even think of attacking us. NATO has been and remains the foundation of our common security on both sides of the Atlantic. Even 75 years after its founding, it is an expression of transatlantic cooperation and our common values of freedom, democracy, and the rule of law. The Alliance is strong and will remain so," quotes Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz The Associated Press.

Mark Rutte also noted that the Alliance countries need to make more investments in their defense. He also expressed concern about the presence of DPRK troops in Russia.

"The deployment of North Korean troops in Russia against Ukraine is a significant escalation. And it makes us even more focused and determined to provide Ukraine with everything necessary to fight against Russians, including North Koreans. We also know that Russia cooperates not only with North Korea. China supplies Russia with dual-use goods and helps bypass sanctions. And, of course, we know that Iran is involved in providing assistance to Russia in military actions, and this motivates us to intensify efforts and do even more," stated NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
