Toyota is preparing a revolution: what new models will appear by 2030.
The Japanese automaker Toyota is resolutely trying to update its lineup of cars in the second half of the 2020s. Usually known for its conservatism, the company is now planning to release several new electric models.
Car Buzz reported that Toyota is working on an electric pickup and other electric vehicles.
The automaker's plans include creating an electric pickup similar to the Tacoma, as well as presenting an electric version of the Land Cruiser Se. The company also announced the release of two electric crossovers with three rows of seats, one of which could be the next generation Highlander.
In addition, Toyota plans to launch sporty models such as the new Toyota Celica and Toyota MR2. Also on the list of new products is a compact pickup based on the Corolla Cross and a new Land Cruiser FJ, with a launch expected to happen soon.
Toyota's efforts to update its cars and introduce new electric models are part of a strategy to respond to the growing demand for eco-friendly vehicles and competition in the automotive market.
